Thai airline Siam Wings began flying direct to Phuket and Pattaya from four Russian cities in October 2026 — Moscow, Krasnoyarsk, Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk. The carrier launched in 2025 for tour operator PEGAS Touristik and is based at U-Tapao airport; for now, seats are sold only as part of tour packages. What changed
The launch was reported by industry outlet Vestnik ATOR, citing tour operator PEGAS Touristik: from October, flights to Phuket from Moscow, Krasnoyarsk, Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk are operated on seat blocks chartered from the new Thai carrier. From 23 October, Krasnoyarsk, Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk add direct flights to U-Tapao, the airport that serves Pattaya. The new Krasnoyarsk route was separately confirmed by Krasnoyarsk airport's press office: according to the carrier's schedule, October flights go to Krabi province (7, 19 and 24 October), to Phuket (31 October) and to U-Tapao (23 October).

Aircraft, baggage and meals
Flights are operated on a wide-body Airbus A330-200 in an all-economy layout seating roughly 345 passengers. The baggage allowance is 10 kg checked and 8 kg hand luggage per passenger; a couple may combine their allowance up to 30 kg. A hot meal is served on board. According to PEGAS Touristik, add-on booking on the airline's own website is expected to go live by the end of October 2026 — until then, check details with your tour operator.
What the tour packages cost
At launch, Siam Wings seats aren't sold separately — only as part of PEGAS Touristik tour packages. Indicative prices for October 2026 (per couple, flight and breakfast included):
- Yekaterinburg → Phuket, 6 nights, departing 21 October — from RUB 136,700;
- Novosibirsk → Phuket, 9 nights, departing 20 October — from RUB 148,500;
- Krasnoyarsk → U-Tapao (Pattaya), 12 nights, departing 23 October — from RUB 195,200;
- Moscow → Phuket, 12 nights, departing 20 October — from RUB 213,100.

What it means for travellers
For Krasnoyarsk, Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk, this adds direct flights to Phuket and Pattaya without a Moscow connection, which this carrier didn't previously offer from those cities. Aeroflot (to Bangkok and Phuket), Azur Air and Nordwind (to Phuket) already fly from Krasnoyarsk to Thailand, so Siam Wings is an additional option rather than the only one, mainly through PEGAS Touristik packages.
