How to get a visa on arrival or apply online (e-VOA)

1. Go to the official portal evisa.imigrasi.go.id (avoid third-party agent sites).
2. Choose Visa on Arrival / e-VOA and your nationality.
3. Upload your passport data page (valid 6+ months) and photo.
4. Enter travel dates and your return/onward ticket.
5. Pay IDR 500,000 by Visa/Mastercard/JCB.
6. Save the e-VOA PDF; your passport is checked on arrival.
7. Within 3 days before arrival, submit the All Indonesia arrival card at allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id.
8. For Bali, pay the IDR 150,000 tourist levy at lovebali.baliprov.go.id.

We don't process applications or charge a service fee. You can apply yourself on the official site evisa.imigrasi.go.id (opens in a new tab); the official fee is 500,000 IDR; on 12 Aug 2026 Indonesian Immigration announced plans to raise it to IDR 750,000 (e-VOA) and IDR 1,000,000 at the airport; no effective date yet. Paid filing services are intermediaries, not the official portal.

“Required” means an official source says so; “May be asked” means the source allows a check or it is an airline requirement; “No confirmed data” means we found no official answer, which does not mean there is no requirement.

Bali tourist tax

The Bali tourist levy is a separate payment, not part of your visa. Amount: 150,000 IDR. Every foreign tourist entering Bali, once per visit. Exempt: diplomatic/official visas, crew, KITAS/KITAP holders, family-reunification and student visas; golden visa and 'other visas' must apply via Love Bali at least 5 days before arrival. Pay online at the official lovebali.baliprov.go.id (card, bank transfer, virtual account, QRIS) before or on arrival; a voucher with QR code is emailed — keep it for the whole trip.
