Direct flights to Thailand from the US

Our route database has no confirmed nonstop schedules from US airports to Thailand yet, so we don't claim one exists. Airlines add and drop long-haul routes by season. To check a nonstop from your city, search the airline's own site or the departures board of your airport for Bangkok Suvarnabhumi (BKK). If there is none, the usual way is one connection in a large hub in Asia, the Middle East or Europe.

Finding cheaper flights to Thailand

We don't show fares: prices change by the hour, and flight search engines do that job better. What we can tell you is what moves the price. Fares follow the season, so check the Thailand weather by month and aim for the shoulder months, when the weather is still good but demand is lower. A connection through a big hub is usually cheaper than the fastest option, and it costs you the layover time shown above. Flexible dates help more than anything else.

How we calculate

Flight times on this page are estimates by distance, not a schedule. We take the great-circle distance between the airports, add 5% because real airways are longer than a straight line, divide by an average cruise speed of 850 km/h (528 mph) and add 45 minutes for taxi, climb and descent. Connections add 2 h for the layover. Results are rounded to 5 minutes. Wind is ignored: eastbound flights are usually faster, westbound slower.

Our route database holds no confirmed schedules from US airports yet, so we never state that a nonstop exists. Schedules change by season: check dates with the airline before you book.
